Emergency Electrician in Universal City, TX

Electricity is as dangerous as it is essential. Practically everything we do depends on this volatile element. Electricians and engineers can tame electricity and turn it into practical energy for your home or business. Sadly, even the most well-designed and installed electrical systems can malfunction, succumb to wear-and-tear, and pose serious safety risks.
If you ever need a uniformed electrician in Universal City, you can call the professionals at Mr. Electric. We are proud to have certified electricians on standby if you need emergency electrical repair. Our courteous representatives are also happy to schedule electrical service at a time convenient for you.

Inspect Your Electrical System Regularly

Electrical systems in homes and businesses are designed to be safe, efficient, and reliable; and commercial electrical systems tend to be more complex than their residential counterparts. This is why it’s especially important for business owners to arrange routine electrical service. Annual inspections can help identify issues and vulnerabilities before they turn into costly and dangerous problems.
Here are just some of the things our electricians in Universal City will be on the lookout for:

  • Overloaded electrical outlets,
  • Burned, damaged, loose, or improperly installed electrical wires,
  • Efficiency and effectiveness of the electrical panel, as well as its condition,
  • Functional ground fault circuit interrupters in areas exposed to water and water vapor,
  • Compliance with local codes and regulations,
  • And more…

In short, periodic electrical service in Universal City can ensure your electrical system is not posing a threat to you or your property. It can also make sure your home is as energy efficient as possible. Call Mr. Electric to consult with an electrician today. We are happy to help.

Signs it’s Time to Call an Electrician

Changing lightbulbs or even replacing electrical outlets can be a quick DIY for homeowners, but there are some electrical tasks that should be left to trained and certified electricians. As you know, electrical wires can carry enough energy to fry appliances, and can certainly fry flesh. Here are some signs it’s probably a good idea to call an electrician:

Universal City, TX
  • If you see smoke or burn marks, or get a burning smell from electrical panels, outlets, or wires.
  • If there is moisture or water in contact with the electrical system.
  • If there are exposed and/or loose electrical wires.
  • If the circuit breaker is constantly tripping OFF.
  • If there is an electrical outage.

Fortunately, finding certified electricians in Universal City is not hard. Just grab your phone and call Mr. Electric. We offer emergency electrical repair, and our courteous representatives are always happy to address questions or concerns.

Our Customers Love our Services

John was on time, explained the issue I was having, offered me a couple of options, and then repaired the switch that was giving me problems, following my preferences of the choices he had given me.  He was pleasant, professional, and did a great job.  Would not hesitate to  use Mr. Electric again!

Austin, electrician and his teammate we’re great! Both were punctual, courteous, and very informative in explaining the situation and their recommendations to replace a bad breaker in our panel.  There was NO frivolous attempt up-sale to items we didn’t need and they were straight to the point honest in their recommendation. In the end, I would described the customer service Austin and his teammate provided me as, AWESOME! Being a new home owner, I am glad I have found  this company and will be using them any future electrical needs!

Outstanding communication and very professional service.  I would highly recommend Mr. Electric.  Received both e-mails and texts on appointment to include a photo and short bio of the actual electrician (Brad Mason) who would be doing the work.  Wish all home service providers did the same.  Brad was on time (actually a few minutes early).  He installed 30AMP breaker and associated RV plug in our garage.  To avoid any sheetrock repairs it was necessary for him to drop the line to the house electric panel through a wall with foam insulation, with very limited head/body clearance for him to work.  No mess left behind from the actual plug installation on another wall.

Rick from Mr. Electric arrived when expected and quickly diagnosed the problem.  He recommended a solution and gave us a proposal for solving the problem.  We asked when he could do the work and how long would it take.  He said he could do the job that day and it would take 4 or 5 hours.  The price was reasonable, and we told him to get started.  He did a very good job, neat and within the estimated time.  The invoice amount for the job was was the same as the proposal amount.  We are planning on having Mr. Electric and hopefully Rick do more work in the near future to upgrade our home's 50+ year old electrical system. Photo of our new circuit breaker panel.
