Electrical Outlet Replacement in Seguin, TX

Charging our phones and powering the many appliances in our homes is incredibly simple thanks to electrical outlets scattered throughout the layout. As reliable as they are, electrical outlets are also susceptible to wear and tear, malfunction, and accidental damage. If your outlets are acting up, or if you are ready to upgrade to safer and more functional ones, then call Mr. Electric to schedule an electrical outlet replacement or electrical outlet repair in Seguin, TX today. Our team is on standby to take your call at any time of the day.

When Should Electrical Outlets Be Replaced?

The average lifespan of a typical electrical outlet will vary, but you can expect roughly 15 to 25 years of service. It's a good practice to periodically inspect your electrical outlet installation in Seguin for signs of wear, damage, or malfunction and replace them as needed to ensure the safety and reliability of your electrical system.

You may also consider an electrical outlet replacement in Seguin if your outlets are old, outdated, or don’t meet current electrical and building codes. Call Mr. Electric to consult with a certified electrician and get an accurate evaluation.

Safety First: GFCI Outlets

Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters, or GFCI outlets, are a type of electrical outlet designed to protect against electric shocks caused by ground faults. These work by constantly monitoring the flow of electricity through the circuit. If the GFCI outlet detects any imbalance in the flow of current, such as when electricity is flowing through water or a person, it quickly shuts off power to the outlet, all in all reducing the risk of electrical shock.

GFCI outlets are commonly installed in areas where water is present, such as kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor outlets, and laundry rooms. If these rooms in your building lack functional GFCI outlets, then call Mr. Electric to fix this vulnerability as soon as possible. GFCI outlets are an important safety feature which should not be overlooked.

Innovative Solutions: Smart Electrical Outlets

Smart homes are all the buzz, but a comprehensive installation is a costly project. Even smart appliances and fixtures come with a hefty price premium. Smart electrical outlets offer a cost-effective solution. Smart electrical outlets, also known as smart plugs or smart sockets, are devices that enable remote control, automation, and monitoring of electrical devices plugged into them.

With smart electrical outlets, you can turn connected devices on or off remotely, set schedules for when connected devices should turn on or off automatically, track the energy consumption of connected devices over time, and more. Call Mr. Electric to learn more about a smart electrical outlet installation or to schedule an appointment.

Our Customers Love our Services

John was on time, explained the issue I was having, offered me a couple of options, and then repaired the switch that was giving me problems, following my preferences of the choices he had given me.  He was pleasant, professional, and did a great job.  Would not hesitate to  use Mr. Electric again!

Austin, electrician and his teammate we’re great! Both were punctual, courteous, and very informative in explaining the situation and their recommendations to replace a bad breaker in our panel.  There was NO frivolous attempt up-sale to items we didn’t need and they were straight to the point honest in their recommendation. In the end, I would described the customer service Austin and his teammate provided me as, AWESOME! Being a new home owner, I am glad I have found  this company and will be using them any future electrical needs!

Outstanding communication and very professional service.  I would highly recommend Mr. Electric.  Received both e-mails and texts on appointment to include a photo and short bio of the actual electrician (Brad Mason) who would be doing the work.  Wish all home service providers did the same.  Brad was on time (actually a few minutes early).  He installed 30AMP breaker and associated RV plug in our garage.  To avoid any sheetrock repairs it was necessary for him to drop the line to the house electric panel through a wall with foam insulation, with very limited head/body clearance for him to work.  No mess left behind from the actual plug installation on another wall.

Rick from Mr. Electric arrived when expected and quickly diagnosed the problem.  He recommended a solution and gave us a proposal for solving the problem.  We asked when he could do the work and how long would it take.  He said he could do the job that day and it would take 4 or 5 hours.  The price was reasonable, and we told him to get started.  He did a very good job, neat and within the estimated time.  The invoice amount for the job was was the same as the proposal amount.  We are planning on having Mr. Electric and hopefully Rick do more work in the near future to upgrade our home's 50+ year old electrical system. Photo of our new circuit breaker panel.
